Snowshoe hike to WaldrasterDur Joch

Transfer to the monastery of Maria Waldrast. We will walk on the high plateau around the monastery to the small peak of Waldraster Joch (1,878 m high).

It is a relaxed excursion through an area of forests and highlands immersed in winter silence. Out of this landscape, stands the impressive Serles mountain that will delight us with its presence.

This excursion is optional, the group will decide wheater to go hiking or going to Innsbruck and visit the state capital of Tyrol. It is a beautiful city, full of life in winter, and of a great cultural and architectural wealth. Innsbruck is characterized by being surrounded by large mountains such as the Nordkette (Brandjoch, 2,559m. Karwendel).
