JOAKIM STRICKNER born 1977 in Innsbruck and grown up in the valleys of Wipptal in Tirol. I was always interested in all aspects of nature witch led me to the studies of biology in Innsbruck, marine ecology in Gothenburg and a consecutive working period at the west coast of Sweden. The mountain hiking guide course I did in 2007 in the Tyrol and since then I´m guiding and organising tailer made tours for hikers, trail runners and other adventurers in the wild part of Tyrol and other mountains around the globe.

After the Studies of Biology in the Tyrol and Sweden, the working experience in the field I was drawn to the mountains and started a new career as nature and hiking guide, lately
